Day 2 of our Forks Adventure....

Well its Friday and we have alot planned for today....
First stop...The Twilight Tour!
Our tour guy Travis, who moved to Forks from Vegas solely for his wife's Twilight obsession, took us to see many of the sights in Forks and Lapush that pertain to the movie. Most of the filming did not actually take place here, but the small town of Forks and Lapush inspired the author, Stephenie Meyer, to make this the setting for the Twilight Saga....we can see why...it is absolutely beautiful here!!
Next stop was river rafting through the Hoh Rainforest...
Due to having to buy a waterproof camera,
I only have a few pre rafting pictures to share...more are soon to come!
After a long day on the water...we headed over to the Twilight Lounge. This is a local bar where they just so happened to have the Twilight impersonators there for a night of fun! We also met some really nice people and had a really good time! If your ever in forks, we highly recommend it!
Anne and I love to just drive around and check things out...here we found the home that inspired Stephenie Meyer for the Cullen house...so glad we found it.... it is breathtaking!!

So it's our first night in Forks and we are having a really good time! Our first stop this morning was to Southern Kitchen. O MY GOODNESS.... the food there was amazing! We found the restaurant featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives..... The people there were really nice and their fried green tomatoes were to die for!
Our next stop was Hurricane Ridge. The scenery was amazing!!! There was actually snow still on the ground and there were actual deer walking around! It was a 17 mile drive to the top of the summit overlooking breathtaking views...we were all blown away!
Here we are on our way to Forks! The drive from Hurricane Ridge was 55 miles passing through Port Angeles. We stopped to get gas...This is where we began to see little hints of Twilight! From signs on the side of the road, to posters in windows, even the gas station had a little Twilight section that you can buy pajama pants hat say Bite Me on the butt....CRAZY!FINALLY.........WE MADE IT!!
Of course there is one more stop after checking into the Motel...
THE MILL CREEK Bar...of course!
Tomorrow morning we will be going on the Breaking Dawn tour, the LaPush Reservation, the field where they filmed the baseball scene in Twilight, we will try to find the Cullen house that originally inspired Stephenie Meyer for the movie, and river rafting through the Hoh Rain forest! Hopefully we will be able to squeeze in the Relay for the Cure the American Cancer Society is hosting at Forks High school.... stay tuned for updates and more pictures!
Thanks for following us...make sure to leave comments!

Ms. Lea Cullen aka: ROBSESSED
Well, I guess it is my turn...It started about 6 years ago....
My husband Chris and I were newlyweds and enjoying our new life together. We have a son, Gabriel, who is turning 12 next month. He is the best thing to ever happen to us and it was time to try for another. Well... somebody should have told me that having baby #2 was going to be so difficult!!! I wouldn’t have waited to 28 to have another...hell, Chris and I wouldn't of NOT tried to have a baby for so long!!! Sheesh!! Anyhow, after a year of trying on our own....we finally got pregnant! YAY.…......NO.......Things didn’t work out the way we wanted and I miscarried 9 weeks in....WE WERE DEVASTATED! Needless to say...trying wasn’t as much fun anymore. Around 6 months after that, we started the infertility process....THAT SUCKED!!!! Hormones, hot flashes, and crying...lots of crying!!! I was depressed, I couldn't be around Prego’s, and I definitely couldn’t be around babies!! That started the water works immediately! Then one day...... a friend at work, Ms Denise, brought in this thick black book, and on the cover it said, "TWILIGHT"!! That caught my eye..... Now, I am not a big reader...in fact I hated reading!!! You couldn’t get me to read a book for anything....I would fall asleep every time without fail! After a lot of convincing from her and Ms. Nina, who is a total bookworm, I finally agreed! Best decision....EVER! I started reading the book and was instantly hooked!!! Like if pheromones were seeping out the pages...I just couldn’t get enough! Finally, with 1 chapter left, I couldn’t wait any longer! I made my husband Chris take me to see the movie......OMR (O MY ROB)!!!!!!! I WAS IN LOVE! After that night, I went home, it was a Thursday evening, I finished the entire series by Sunday evening…. And I have read it more then 5 times since then…
Twilight for me, began my healing process. It was a distraction and something to look forward to. Instead of days wasted on feeling sad and sorry for myself, I was able to refocus myself on something else…someone else…. Something more healthy. My husband Chris has been extremely supportive in my new hobby, even though he complains in public…he still brings me home magazines filled with Twilight. Like he always says, “HAPPY WIFE HAPPY LIFE” Twilight saved my life in many ways….it will hold a special place in my heart for all time.
About a year and half ago....I went to family night at Angels Stadium for my sons school. Now I knew Ryan, Anne's son. He had been in class with Gabe since kinder...They were there and Anne caught sight of my Twilight bag I carried. Chris and Jim, our husband's new it was all over from there! I got to hear all about their upcoming trip to Forks, and I knew I had to convince them to go again....and so here we are....leaving for Forks....in less then 48 hours!!!

Twilight Anne....
My story begins with my fellow Twihard, Liz. In 2008, she started telling me about a vampire book she was reading. I don’t like scary stuff but she told me there was a love story going on. As she read the series she would give me brief summaries every day at lunch. I found myself anticipating the next day’s update. She asked if I would see the movie with her and I agreed. I made her wait almost 2 weeks to see the movie (Seriously, what was I thinking – we went to the midnight showing of New Moon and Eclipse). For Christmas Liz bought me the series so I read the books. On day 1 about 100 pages into
Twilight, I called Liz claiming we had to see the movie now. I ended up reading all 4 books in 4 days (with many rereads sinceg). We ended up seeing the movie many times.

When it was announced New Moon was going to be released in November 2009, Liz and I came up with a plan to see the movie in Forks. We did not know Forks was so small they didn’t have a theater and the opening was too close to the holidays. We then decided to make the journey to Forks in August 2009. The trip was awesome and we had a blast. We met Lea shortly before the trip and our Twihard souls connected and it has been vampire bliss since. She asked us to go again in 2010, and we couldn’t resist. After telling Newborn, Erin, about our great trip in 2009 and the future trip in 2010, we “changed” her and she had to join us for the ride. I am not Team Edward or Team Jacob . . . . . . I am Team Sandwich (a little hot Jacob and a little cold (okay wicked hot) Edward). Go Team Sandwich!!!!
